For maximum flavor and spice potency, the chili oil sauce should be consumed within one (1) month.
I have personally consumed some sauce that was left out unrefrigerated for about two years and was still good, although not ideal due to loss of flavor and spice.

I highly recommend storing the sauce in the shelf and out of direct sunlight.
For long term storage you may store in the refrigerator, although the oil will solidify. Leave out at room temperature until oil returns to liquid state. DO NOT MICROWAVE!DO NOT STORE IN FREEZER!

The chili oil sauce’s main spice comes from Thai red chili peppers. It may be extremely spicy for some while may be mild to others. It depends on your spice tolerance.
Spice level is also very dependent on the chili peppers I use for that batch. Spice levels also goes down over time. For maximum spice, it’s best to consume the sauce within a month.
